NINILCHIK 132.6 CABINS & RV PARK is centrally located midpoint of  some of the Kenai’s most famous fly rod fisheries on the Sterling Highway.

HERE COMES THE IMPORTANT PART!!!  To enhance our 132.6 Sterling Highway facility, we offer our patrons, an exclusive, private point of access to Deep Creek River 3 miles upstream from the Sterling Highway. We own 160 acres (an old homestead) of pristine Alaska property through which passes ½ mile of The Deep Creek River.  It is easily found on plats or maps of the Ninilchik area because Clam Creek converges with Deep Creek River on the property.  

 

At our Deep Creek River location, access world class fly fishing. Enjoy a secured parking area less than 50’ from the river bank making it very accessible to older and less nimble clients such as myself. Through August and September, a bathroom and gazebo is available for our guests.

 

Anyone interested in fly fishing the Deep Creek River should first read and become familiar with the 2008 Alaska Sport Fishing Regulations.  Deep Creek River, above the 2 mile ADF&G Markers, is a catch and release fishery (which will be strongly enforced), except for Dolly Varden.

 

Once again, access to our Deep Creek River access point is by invitation and reservation only to guests of our 132.6 Sterling Highway cabin & RV park.          

 

The “Tin Can” (named by our grandson, Dusty, on his first visit to Alaska) is available September 15th through May 1st, catering to Deep Creek “fly fishers” and snow machiners, by reservation only.

 

The barrack style sleeping arrangement has 12 twin beds in one open room, complete with kitchen, Satellite TV, and bathroom.

 

Cost is $ 75.00 per night per person + 3% Sales Tax   SORRY, NO PETS ALLOWED

 

For required reservations we honor only Visa/MC and no checks or cash accepted.

 

No smoking or profanity will be allowed. THIS WILL BE ENFORCED AND VIOLATORS WILL BE DIRECTED TO LEAVE.
